Hello Rob
I have just gotten around to viewing your gallery, and i had to call Liz in
to see for herself the talent that you have. I could look at the picture of
the old boy with the poppy all day, and still notice something i had missed.
And you play lead! I hate you! Look forward to seeing you, hope the
latest commission has gone well.
Regards

Hello Robin,
I was going through the International Artist Magazine of Jan 2006 and I could not help coming back to "the lifer" graphite portrait,
To my personal opinion, this is the best ever portrait I have ever seen of anyone, you are a not only a master but you have the touch of a genius.
I bow and bow again,
from accross the seas, plenty of praises from Hong Kong,
best regards,
Philippe Colin.

I saw some of your work at the Duck Inn in Stanhoe on a recent visit to the area. I was totally mesmerised by the detail you are able to capture in your work...Amazing. Having visited your website I can see that you are able to capture the same detail across a number of mediums!...You truly are a talented person....

My best to Robin

Robin was born in Birmingham in 1957 and brought up in rural West Norfolk. He was considered a child prodigy for by the time he was 5 years old he had taught himself to paint in oils. By the time he was 10 he was selling his pictures for pocket money. By the time he was 10 he was selling his pictures for pocket money. When he was [17] he accepted a place at a [local] art college but, after continued disagreements with his tutors, he left in order to have the freedom to develop his own style of painting.
